Dr. Angela DeRosa, DO, MBA, CPE, widely known as America’s Hormone Doctor™, is a nationally recognized leader in hormonal health, committed to transforming medical education and patient care through hormone optimization. With over 25 years of experience as a physician, entrepreneur, and educator, she has dedicated her career to bridging the knowledge gap in hormone therapy, ensuring that both practitioners and patients have access to life changing treatment options.
Dr. DeRosa’s passion stems from her own early struggles with hormone imbalance. During medical school, she experienced severe perimenopause symptoms but faced dismissals from doctors attributing them to stress. At 35, she discovered she was in full-blown menopause, an experience that ignited her relentless drive to challenge conventional medical approaches and advocate for comprehensive, patient-centered care. Determined to change the landscape of hormone therapy, she founded DeRosa Medical in 2009, establishing herself as a leader in bio-identical hormone healthcare.
Her bestselling book, A Woman’s Health Survival Guide, sparked national interest, leading her to launch the Hormonal Health Institute in 2018. Through HHI, she has pioneered advanced training programs that empower healthcare professionals with the expertise needed to address hormonal deficiencies confidently, effectively and safely. As the lead instructor for HHI’s training, Dr. DeRosa personally delivers much of the curriculum, ensuring practitioners receive the personal touch of her vast real-world clinical experience.
A board-certified internist, Certified Physician Executive (CPE), and sought-after speaker, Dr. DeRosa’s expertise extends beyond the exam room, she is an influential thought leader in integrative and functional medicine.
